Coolant Delete Lite has ARRIVED! Shipments begin on Monday!
Our Coolant Delete prevents inevitable damage to Tesla Large Drive Units ("LDU", formerly the "570A" motor) from leaking rotor seals found in the Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X, Toyota Rav4 EV, and Mercedes B-Class.
This leaking coolant issue will short out the stator (field windings), seize and rust the rotor, and complete destroy the electronics in the inverter.
After rebuilding hundreds of these Tesla Large Drive Units ("LDU"), we have developed the Coolant Delete to permanently prevent the problem for ever occurring. The QC Charge Coolant Delete work in the same way that Tesla adopted to address the same issue on LDU's in 2020.
This "Coolant Delete Lite" is the same as our original Coolant Delete, but removes the option for oil cooling. If you desire oil cooling, you can find that product listing here.
Importantly, the QCCharge Coolant Delete preserves the coolant line to allow for coolant to still reach the gear set and the inverter chiller plates. Other options out there do not keep this important part of the cooling loop!
